Theraputic Treatments

Explore a variety of relaxing and restorative therapies, including a variety of tailored reflexology and massage treatments, designed to help you unwind and support your body’s natural balance.

Never underestimate the power of relaxation.
Stress is one of the leading contributors to illness, affecting everything from blood sugar levels to heart health. High stress hormones can disrupt your body, increasing the risk of weight gain, diabetes, and heart conditions.
Prioritising stress reduction is one of the best steps you can take for your health.

About Reflexology

Reflexology is a deeply relaxing massage treatment. It generally that focuses on specific areas on your feet. However, I also use ears, legs, and a combination of techniques for different purposes. These include working the lymphatic areas when your immune system is compromised or you have retained fluid, for example.

While reflexology is not a diagnostic tool there is much evidence that treatments can help with sleep, menopause and hormone balance, when relaxation is required and stress needs reducing, relieving pain and easing digestive and skeletal issues.

Reflexology complements most medical treatments and cancer care. In fact, reflexology Lymph drainage was devised especially for women with lymphedema after breast cancer treatment.

Working the ears (which get surprisingly tense!) can affect the link between the brain and the rest of the body via the vagal nerve. Seeds are placed on to the ears to wear home to prolong the effects of the treatment and left on for a few days.

When not to have reflexology? It is not a great idea to have a reflexology treatment is there are infectious skin conditions like athletes’ foot, blood clots in the legs, or gout. Most conditions can be adapted for, but if you are not sure always contact me before booking.

About Massage
Massage comes in many forms, but whether it’s sports, holistic, deep tissue, or relaxation, the techniques are the same, with each focusing on a different goal.

Here, deep tissue, holistic, and relaxation massages are customised to suit your needs.

The pressure can be firm to release and iron out muscle knots or light and soothing when pain is present. A specific pressure-point routine with essential oils is used, allowing the oils to enhance the therapeutic effect.

Each session is adapted to how you’re feeling on the day. Some clients prefer focusing on the back, neck, and shoulders, while others include foot reflexology, legs, or arms for a more comprehensive experience.

If you’re dealing with a trapped nerve or injury, I may recommend seeing a chiropractor, osteopath, or sports masseur to ensure you receive the best care possible.

Your progress is my priority. If lasting improvement isn’t achieved, we’ll delve deeper using kinesiology to uncover any underlying issues that may need further attention.

About Facial Massage
If you’re dealing with a stiff neck, tight shoulders, headaches, sinus congestion, tired eyes, or puffiness, a facial massage can help. It’s also great if your skin feels sluggish or congested, or you just need to relax and unwind.

The treatment gently loosens tight muscles around your jaw and neck, easing tension and leaving you feeling lighter. It can also help with pain, stress, and making your skin look and feel smoother, healthier, and more refreshed. Acupressure points add an extra layer of relaxation and help bring balance to your whole body.

Every session starts with a cleanse, followed by a soothing shoulder, neck, and face massage with nourishing oil. Using a mix of calming, muscle-relaxing, and acupressure techniques, this treatment is the perfect way to feel pampered and rejuvenated.
