What are the signs of coming to the end of menopause?
The menopause transition can feel like an emotional and physical roller coaster. But how do you know when that ride is slowing down? This post helps women tune into the signals their body may be sending as they approach the end of perimenopause and draw closer to menopause itself.

Period Patterns: The First Big Clue
  • Cycles become significantly more spaced out—60 days, 90 days, even longer.
  • You might skip several months, then have one last unexpected visit.
  • Eventually, periods stop altogether—when it’s been 12 months, menopause has officially arrived.

Symptom Shifts: Familiar, but Changing
  • Hot flushes and night sweats may begin to lessen in frequency or intensity.
  • Mood swings might settle—though they can still flare under stress.
  • Vaginal dryness, sleep disturbances, or low libido may linger but feel less volatile.
These changes don’t always disappear—they just evolve, becoming more manageable for many women.

A Sense of Resilience Returning
Many women describe feeling like they’re “coming out the other side.” You may notice:
  • More consistent energy levels
  • Less intense emotional swings
  • A shift from “survival mode” into more clarity, motivation, or calm
This is the body finding a new rhythm—a stable hormonal phase, even if it’s different from the one before.

A Call to Reflect, Rebalance & Rebuild
This chapter is a powerful time to:
  • Reassess your routines—especially around stress, blood sugar, gut support, and sleep
  • Get curious about how your health patterns have changed
  • Recognise how far you’ve come—and honour the resilience it’s taken to get here
Don’t Forget to Check In—Not Just Symptom-Watch
Functional testing and kinesiology can still play a crucial role during this time. Just because the dramatic shifts are easing doesn’t mean everything has stabilised. Digestive health, adrenal function, and detox pathways all need tuning as you step into post menopause.
